RSS Feed Trigger

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the RSS trigger in my workflow. I've configured the trigger to run every hour, but for some reason, the workflow is triggering multiple times within that timeframe.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the history for reference, showing the unexpected multiple triggers. From my understanding, the RSS trigger should only fire once per hour, check for the a new element und react on the latest element of the feed.
The workflow is partial failed because i got blocked by the twitter(X) API because of the mass of requests. Does someone know the reason for this?

Hello @pathu,

The behavior you're observing is related to how the polling trigger works. When you set the trigger to run every hour, Pabbly will check the RSS feed after that set time (e.g., every hour) and grab all the new items that have been received since the last fetch. This means the workflow will execute multiple times, but each execution corresponds to a different item that was added to the feed.

This is why you're seeing multiple triggers within the same timeframe.
