Shopify to quickbooks invoice creation issue

Hi,

I am trying to set up an automation between shopify and quickbooks to create automatic invoices in quickbooks when an order is received from shopify. The create invoice command in quickbooks requires the total of each line item, so quantity x cost of each item, however shopify does not provide this information. I have the number of line items, and the cost of each line item, but not the multiple of the two. I converted the line items and cost of each line item to a list, but cannot figure out how to multiply the two successfully or pull the required data from shopify or change the quickbooks invoice creation action to do the multiplication on its own. Thank you for your help!

Hey @ldschulz

Unfortunately, there is no option to multiply the quantity with its rate individually.
Is there another workaround you can suggest? I tried exporting the info to a google sheets spreadsheet and doing the calculation there, but when I try pulling the results out of that back to pabbly using the google sheets results the numbers don’t pull through properly.

I also tried just putting in the quantities and costs into the quickbooks invoice creator, and it doesn’t multiply them together explicitly, but it knows somehow when the totals aren’t correct, so it does the math somehow. Unfortunately I can’t just leave the line item totals blank because it is a required field.
