Hello Pabbly Team,

I am setting up a workflow in Pabbly Connect to automatically comment on every new post on my Facebook Page. My setup is:

  • Trigger: Facebook Pages → New Post Published
  • Formatter: Split Text (to extract the numeric Post ID)
  • Action: Facebook Comments → Comment on a Page Post
The mapping is correct, and I am passing only the numeric Post ID into the Post field. However, when testing, I consistently get this error:

Error Message: (#12) singular statuses API is deprecated for versions v2.4 and higher
Error Type: OAuthException
Error Code: 12

This indicates that the “Facebook Comments → Comment on a Page Post” action is still calling the old statuses API endpoint, which Meta deprecated after Graph API v2.4.

Hello @CoachN,

Thanks for sharing the workflow. It seems that the ID you are mapping is not in the correct format. We recommend mapping the complete Post ID captured from the trigger into the action step and then testing by adding a comment.

To verify, please enable your workflow, capture a new post from Facebook, and then try adding a comment. Let us know how it goes.
