The payment from the billplz is taking very long to redirect back to thank you page.

We have integrated the payment from the billplz in the pabbly billing subscription. Whenever we try to make the payment from the test card, the redirection to thank you page is immediate but when we make the real payment with the billplz, it is taking more than 15s to redirect to the thank you page. We are not able to figure out this issue. Please help us to assist on this.

Thank you for contacting us. After checking on our end, we've determined that the thank you page you're being redirected to is the thank you page of the Billplz payment gateway following a successful payment. We kindly request you to contact Billplz payment gateway support to inquire about the reason for the delay, as this thank you page is generated by the gateway itself and not by Pabbly Subscription Billing.

How did you determined the tank you page we are being redirected is the thank you page of billplz ? Because we couldn't see any thank you page from the billplz & it gets redirected to our thank you page after some moment.

We have reached out to billplz on this issue, here is the reply from their end

Thank you for reaching out to Billplz.

There are no issues with redirecting users after payment completion from our end.

If there are delays in redirection to the thank you page, it may come from your Pabbly Subscription Billing workflow.

We recommend checking your workflows to identify any factors that might be causing this slow redirection.

You may make a test payment outside of the webview environment (by using a laptop or desktop) for further investigation on your end.
Any suggestion on what can we do next on this ?

Also Is it expected, or documented, that Pabbly's default thank you page after successful payment, will be replaced by the chosen payment's gateway thank you page?

This does not occur with all payment gateways. There are certain payment gateways like Billzby, Razorpay Subscription where the thank you page is the payment gateway's own thank you page. However, in most cases, the default thank you page is the Pabbly thank you page.

Billplz has reached out to us regarding the redirection issue. They are claiming billplz is redirecting to pabbly after payment completion within 1sec. I have attached the message from billplz & video as well.
We have tested your payment completion URL and we found no delay issue from our end.

Billplz successfully redirects to Pabbly "Thank You" page under 1 second. You may check your network connection status.

We hope this clarifies.

As discussed previously, we have already escalated this issue to our technical team. They are currently investigating and reviewing the workflow on their end. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the meeting tomorrow as it is weekend. Can we have meeting early next week ? Also for making debugging easy we have a screenshot which shows that connect.pabbly is actually taking some good time(around 21.26s) to redirect.

Our technical team has made some changes on our end to reduce the time taken for the thank you page redirection using the Billplz payment gateway, as discussed during our call. We kindly request you to test this by making a live payment and inform us whether the issue has been resolved. Your feedback will help us further investigate the matter.
