WhatsApp Business API integration not triggering for new Zoho CRM leads

Hi all,

I have integrated WhatsApp Business API with Zoho CRM using Pabbly Connect. The purpose is to automatically send a welcome message via our official WhatsApp business account to new leads added in Zoho CRM.

The setup workflow is as follows:

  1. New lead gets added to Zoho CRM
  2. Pabbly Connect Zoho CRM connector detects this and triggers the WhatsApp Business API workflow
  3. Predefined template message is sent to the new lead's mobile number from our WhatsApp business account
While the integration and workflow creation was smooth, I'm facing an issue where the trigger is not happening consistently. For some new leads added to Zoho CRM, the WhatsApp message is not getting triggered.

I have checked the following but the problem persists:

  • Confirmed mobile numbers in Zoho CRM are in proper country code format
  • Checked for any errors in Pabbly Connect logs but none related to this issue
  • Verified all configurations in Pabbly Connect - Zoho fields mapping, trigger settings etc seem accurate
Has anyone faced this issue with Pabbly Connect before? Is there something I'm missing in the setup or known bugs that cause the trigger to fail intermittently? Any pointers would be appreciated. I need the automation to work reliably for every new lead. Please let me know if any other details are required.

Has anyone faced this issue with Pabbly Connect before? Is there something I'm missing in the setup or known bugs that cause the trigger to fail intermittently? Any pointers would be appreciated. I need the automation to work reliably for every new lead. Please let me know if any other details are required.
Can you please share some of the lead data you think didn't get processed and received the WhatsApp message, so we can cross-check the same?
