Why Administrator permission for discord integration

I want to integrate Discord in my workflow. But the trigger / Action is working only if I add Administrator permission to the Pabbly integration. Don't understand why. On Zapier discord integration, you only have 2 permissions to authorize : Send message & Manage Webhook.

Is there a way to reduce the permissions you ask for discord ? Don't want an external application has full permission to my discord...

Thank you very much. Do you have a timeline for feedback ? Because I moved from Zapier to Pabbly for Discord but if there is no update I couldn't use it and will need to ask a refund before the end of the refundable period.

Not yet. The application is still under processing from Discord ends.

We just checked it today again. There is no update from the Discord side yet.

Could you escalate that with Discord ? I moved from Zapier to Pably and the only one connection I need for now is Discord and I can't use it since one month...

Did you escalate the situation ? You are promoting discord connexion on Pabbly but it doesn't work since more than 1 month.
Could you give us an update on that ? Did you just push the validation to discord and waiting or you took action and already escalated this with Discord support ?

I agree with the above comment I purchased this service on the basis of a discord connection and it's imperative that we get this situation sorted ASAP.

We have contacted Discord's top-level management for bot verification and hope they will update us soon.

We are in contact with the discord team regarding the authentication and discussing with the discord the solution for better connectivity with all the users.

We will update you, once they resolved the authentication with Discord.

Please address too the fact that you are asking administrator access of all, that is not correct. Do you have a timeline on that ? 3 months that it is a down feature .....

Any update? 3 Months now, or just hide Discord for now.

You can now post messages over the Discord channel with Pabbly Connect as shown below -
