WordPress not firing Web Hook

Hi,

I have set up the Pabbly workflow and set up the webhook to fire when a new post is created.

There is one for a standard post and a second for a custom post type.

Neither are received in Pabbly when new posts are created.

Is there any way to check where the issue might be?

Kind regards,
Bruce

Hey @Bruce

You can refer to our tutorial video for a better understanding of Wodpress's trigger event to capture the webhook response.

Further, follow the proper steps mentioned in the help text of the Trigger Event.

HI,

Followed the steps and all settings are correct. Have it working on another site no problem.

Only this site has an issue.

Is there any way to check where the issue might be?

Kind regards,
Bruce

Hey @Bruce

Could you please try testing the trigger for webhook data which is actually coming to the desired webhook or not with the help of webhook.site(3rd party web application used to test the data is being received or not )

To test the data coming from the API, you can refer to our tutorial video, kindly try this at your end and let us know -

(In the given video we have used Thrivecart to test the data but you can use Wordpress's API to test this)

Hi,

Looks as though the website isn't firing the webhook.

Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot. The error logs don't show any issues.

Plugin conflict maybe?

Kind regards,
Bruce

Hi,

Disabled all the plugins except the Webhook to test and still no success.

The same webhook fires from a different website no problem. Both websites are hosted with the same hosting provider.

Do you think there is a server setting that could affect the webhook?

Kind regards,
Bruce

Hey @Bruce

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, as we can see in your respective workflow the Wordpress Trigger is capturing the published post data on your workflow. Do let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks!
