Workflow API + SMTP

Hello there, I'm trying to build the welcome email system using SMTP but how I can take the data from our backend ? is there any way to connect my database to the SMTP tool?
BTW I try to select the API in the "Trigger" but I'm not able to find it
Please lemme know if there is any way or Idea to make this kind of system

Hey @Fouad

We don't have API's in the trigger section. We have webhooks for it. Please let me know which database tool using for fetching details and also the name of the SMTP tool.
