Replied Wrongful Charge After Confirmed Cancellation – Immediate Refund Required | Sub ID: sub_SpptwRG9CAAxN5

I am writing to formally raise a serious billing dispute and demand an immediate refund.

On 15th June 2026 at 1:06 PM, I cancelled my Pabbly Connect Monthly Plan - Tier 1 (INR) subscription. I received an official cancellation confirmation email from Razorpay ([email protected]) clearly stating:

"No more charge attempts will be made on your account after 16 Jul 2026."

Subscription ID: sub_SpptwRG9CAAxN5

Despite this confirmed cancellation, I was charged ₹2,107.48 on 16th June 2026 at 4:13 AM — less than 24 hours after my cancellation was processed — under the SAME subscription ID.

This is completely unacceptable. The cancellation was confirmed. The system acknowledged it. Yet the charge went through anyway.

I am attaching the following as proof:
1. Cancellation confirmation email from Razorpay dated 15th June 2026
2. Charge confirmation email from Razorpay dated 16th June 2026
3. Both showing the identical Subscription ID: sub_SpptwRG9CAAxN5

I request the following to be done immediately:
✅ Full refund of ₹2,107.48 (Payment ID: T1f7YYjdg0CC8z)
✅ Written confirmation that no further charges will be attempted
✅ An explanation of how this happened despite a confirmed cancellation

If this is not resolved within 48 hours, I will be escalating this to Razorpay directly, as well as filing a complaint with the relevant consumer protection authorities.

I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution.

Hello @Mawiya_SWA,

Thank you for sharing the details and attachments.

Upon reviewing the information provided, we noticed that the cancellation email from Razorpay states that "No more charge attempts will be made on your account after 16 Jul 2026." This indicates that the subscription was scheduled to stop future renewals after the current billing cycle and that no charges would be deducted from the next billing period onward.

The charge you are referring to was deducted on 16 Jun 2026, which falls within the current billing cycle and before the date mentioned in the cancellation confirmation email. Based on the information available, it appears that the cancellation was processed for future renewals, while the current month's charge had already been scheduled.
