Xero Receipt

I am trying to have Xero send a receipt when a payment is marked as received. Whilst I can send an Invoice (which would reveal a $0 balance), it would be clearer to send using the inbuilt receipt system. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks

Hey @katalystjay

Can you please elaborate on your concern in brief, so that we can look into it and check the possibility for the same?

I'm not sure what further clarification you are looking for.
When a payment is made through Xero there is the option to send a receipt (it acknowledges payment date, amount left owing etc.). I want an automation to send this receipt.
Currently the only option is to retrieve the invoice ID from the payment trigger and then send that invoice out via pabbly. An invoice instead lists what is owing and then would in this case outline a $0 balance owing.
Is there a specific part you need clarification on?

I'm sorry to say that I couldn't find an action step that can provide the desired details in the response.

Is there anyway to send a custom email then with the invoice that more clearly defines that the invoice has been paid? eg setup a template in Xero and then select that template for the email message?

Hey @katalystjay

Kindly clarify if you are trying to make the template inside Xero? or Do you want to send it separately through automation via Pabbly while using another application such as Gmail to send the invoice.
