Workaround Needed — No Option to Pull Historical Google Reviews from GMB Integration

I’m currently building an automation to respond to unreplied Google reviews for my business. I noticed that the Google My Business app in Pabbly Connect only offers trigger events like New Review, but there’s no action available to pull historical reviews — especially those that haven’t received a reply yet.


This limits my ability to:
  • Run a one-time sweep to address older, unreplied reviews
  • Perform full review sentiment analysis on past feedback
  • Migrate or synchronize data across platforms

Could you advise:
  1. Whether there’s an existing workaround (e.g. alternative module/API route)
  2. If this feature is on the roadmap, or if it’s a limitation of the GMB API itself
  3. Any suggestions for connecting external tools or using webhooks for this gap
Thank you in advance! I'd love to keep the flow fully within Pabbly if possible.

U can use action event called Fetch review. You need to put condition if the response doesn't have key called "ReviewReply Comment" then you need to provide reply to that comment. If you are still not able to solve this on your own feel free to DM me and we can do a free zoom call. FYI I'm not from Pabbly Connect team, just a freelancer who helps other Pabbly users.

I'm using schedule to trigger google fetch unreplied reviews. then google business create reply. is there away to put another action in between for me to do manual review before google auto post? in google business create reply it self i don't see it.

There is no direct step available for manual review. However, as a workaround, you can add the following steps to your workflow to achieve this use case:

  1. Use 'Google Sheets: Add New Row' to add the composed reply to your Google Sheet.
  2. Add a Delay step to give yourself enough time to review the composed reply in the spreadsheet.
  3. Manually approve or disapprove the reply in the sheet, which will then be fetched after the delay using the 'Get Row(s)' action step.
  4. Add a Filter step to ensure that only approved replies are sent.
