Late Triggers

Consent to Access & Modify

Hello,

So my main workflows are these:
1. Videos get uploaded to Dropbox
2. The rest of the workflow happens

The triggers are supposed to be activated every 10 minutes, as mentioned on Pabbly's website (even though Zapier is like 1-minute, which is 10x better), but sometimes it takes an hour or sometimes it doesn't activate at all.

This is super frustrating and really making me think about switching.

I can't even run the workflow manually because sometimes there are multiple videos uploaded at the same time, and the manual method only works with the last video.

Can you check my workflows and see what's the issue?

This happens randomly for almost all the workflows. That's why I didn't share.
Sometimes they're fine, but suddenly they don't work or have a long delay.

Hi @hidden__021,

Could you please share any one of the workflow URLs along with an instance of the Task History ID that should have triggered earlier but was delayed?

Once we have those details, we’ll escalate the issue to our technical team for further review.

Here is an example:

It's been 26 minutes since the editor uploaded content to Dropbox, but the trigger didn't run, and nothing is happening. These issues are random. Sometimes the trigger works within a couple of minutes; sometimes the same workflow delays for hours or doesn't run at all, making the whole platform unreliable.

So 2 videos uploaded into Dropbox at 7:33pm. And out of the 2, only one of them got uploaded to Frame.io at 7:59pm right after the comment I put here.
Seems like the other one failed:
Task History ID - IjU3NjUwNTZhMDYzZTA0MzQ1MjY5NTUzNzUxMzA1MTY1NTQzNzBmMzki_pc

But again, 27 minutes to execute is crazy late.

Thank you for the update. We will have our technical team look into the issue where the workflow takes longer than 10 minutes to trigger after the file is uploaded.
Seems like the other one failed:
Task History ID - IjU3NjUwNTZhMDYzZTA0MzQ1MjY5NTUzNzUxMzA1MTY1NTQzNzBmMzki_pc
For this error, we suggest adding a Delay After Queue step right before the 'Frame.io V4: Upload Asset from URL' action step. This should help mitigate the issue.
