Hi Pabbly Team,

I’m building an automation for Threads and I want to use “comments on a Threads post” as a trigger, similar to Instagram’s “New Comment on Media” trigger.

Question:
1) In the current Meta Threads integration, is it possible to retrieve comments for a specific Threads post (or receive a trigger when a new comment is added)?
2) If it’s not supported yet, is it on the roadmap? If yes, what’s the recommended workaround (e.g., Threads/Meta webhooks or Graph API polling)?

What I need (ideally as a Trigger or a “Do This” action):
- Get latest comments for a post (by post_id)
- Or: Trigger when a new comment is posted on my Threads post
- Returned fields:
- comment_id
- post_id
- commenter_id / username (if available)
- comment_text
- created_time
- parent_comment_id (if it’s a reply thread)
- permalink (if available)

Goal:
When someone comments on my Threads post, I want to send the comment data to Pabbly → then continue the flow (e.g., store in Google Sheets / generate a reply draft / notify me).

If you need more details, tell me what identifiers you require (Threads account id, post id, etc.) and I’ll share them.

Currently, there is no available trigger or action in the Meta Threads integration to fetch comments on a specific post.

Our team is reviewing the feasibility of supporting this feature. However, it may take some time before we can confirm implementation.

We will keep you informed of any updates regarding this functionality.
