AI assistant not sticking to knowledge base

Hi Team,

I have been using the AI assistant for a couple of weeks now. I noticed that the AI assistant is not sticking to the knowledge base. It is answering all general queries as well.

Any help to improve it and stick to the knowledge base?

Yes, to improve this behavior, you can update the instructions provided to your AI Assistant. Make sure to clearly specify that the assistant should strictly refer to and respond based only on the knowledge base, and avoid answering general queries outside of it.

Providing precise and well-defined instructions significantly helps in guiding the assistant’s responses as per your expectations.

Hi Preeti,
I have experimented a lot with it. It is responding to general queries also despite giving detailed prompts. Temperature is at 0. I have posted after doing a thorough testing. Definitely it needs improvement. Kindly take it as a feedback.

However, could you please try setting up the temperature between 4-6 and let us know the results.
 
I'm having the same issue and I think in the past, the knowledgebase files would show up in the playground but not today...it's not there.

We couldn't find any AI assistants in your Pabbly Chatflow account. Could you please create a short screen recording and elaborate a bit more on the exact issue you are encountering?
