Create A Customer and Payment Method in Stripe

I'm trying to create a customer in Stripe and also add a payment method. What's the best way to accomplish this? There is an action to "Create A Payment Method" but it doesn't map to any Customer ID, so I don't know where the payment method gets created. Thanks.
