Create Customer account without using a credit card

For example, can we create a sign in link just for a customer to make an account but not pay anything..?
How can we create a customer without using a payment method, so we can apply credits to a customer and not use their money.
This is for customers who pay us by other means and we simply add their credits to their account.

Thank you for the confirmation. It seems you want to create a customer in PSB without them going through the checkout page. In this case, you can create a workflow that triggers upon the submission of user information (such as through a form) and use the 'PSB: Create Customer' action step to add those customers to your PSB account.

Hello,

You may instead share the client portal login link with your users. Refer to the attached image. Once they log in using this link, they will be added as a customer.

Hi, thank you for this, we have a new problem with this matter, the client created an account but we can not give them credit because they used PayPal...
can I somehow give them credit and can I remove PayPal from my payment gateway...?

You are correct — for PayPal subscriptions, it isn’t possible to directly add credits to the account. As a workaround, you can delete the existing subscription and create a new subscription, then assign the credits to the new one.

Please note that removing PayPal from your payment gateway is not currently supported.

I am struggeling
  1. the client sent us mony outside PSB which we want to use in PSB as a FN sub
  2. We created a Single Payment product in PSB with a $.50 payment to activate an account.
  3. We sent this to the client
  4. The client filled it out
  5. We then want to credit the cleint with their funds as per #1
  6. And then create a new sub in PSB using the credits as per #1
please check, when the client account was made the system attempted to collect from their debit card

Hello @boehboe d boehboe

If a user creates a new subscription manually, they need to go to the Invoice section to manually record the payment — you can refer to this guide for details: Record Payment.

They can also add credits to the subscription; however, these credits will only be deducted in the next payment when an invoice is sent to the user.

Since the subscription was created manually and the payment was recorded offline, the user will need to manually complete the payment through the invoice link sent via email.

Additionally, please note:

  • Once a subscription is created manually and an amount (e.g., $50) is added manually, the next invoice generated will be for $50.
  • If credits are available, they will be automatically applied to that invoice, and the adjusted payment amount will be reflected in the payment link sent to the customer.
