Create new subscription for existing customer API

Hey,
I am using Pabbly Subscription Billing. I am using the API endpoint to create a subscription for an existing customer. The payment term I have set for the subscribed plan is 30 days. When I create a new subscription, it makes an invoice that has a due date 30 days from now so that the user has 30 days to pay for the subscription. The issue here is that the status for the subscription is PENDING rather than LIVE. I want the status to be LIVE for 30 days even if the user pays at the 30th day so that the plan can be used by the user for those 30 days

Hello @dhyeymistri ,

The status of subscription inside Pabbly Susbcription billing will remain as pending until the payment is not received from the user. Once the Payment is received from the user for that particular subscription this status of subscription changes from pending subscription to live subscription.

The option you are looking for is not possible as the subscription only becomes live once the payment is received from the user.
I hope this answers your concerns if you have any other concern please feel free to let us know we are here to assist you.

Thanks for the reply
But clarify me the use of payment terms here then? How is payment terms beneficial to me if the user cannot actually subscribe to a plan unless paid

Hello @dhyeymistri ,
By setting a payment term, you can allow a certain number of days for payment. For example, if you select Net15, it means your customer has an additional 15 days to make the payment from the subscription billing date.
