Let’s understand this with the help of an example –

Suppose a unique customer Ron purchased a total of 3 different subscriptions & got registered i.e. a single customer entry gets recorded in the system.
The purchased subscriptions are of following billing cycle –

• Plan 1 - Recurring/ per month
• Plan 2 - One - time
• Plan 3 – Quarterly

So, the sales for initial 2 payments would be –

a) Plan 1 – Payment 1 (April) + Payment 2 (June) = 2 Sales
b) Plan 2 – One-time payment (April) = 1 Sale
c) Plan 3 – Payment 1 (April) + Payment 2 (July) as the billing was quarterly = 2 Sales
Therefore, the final sales for customer Ron is 2+1+2 = Total 5 sales

And the final compiled data for the user is –

User : Ron (1 Single Customer)
Total Subscriptions : 3
Total Sales Total : 5 (the count may vary depending upon the billing period)
