Dropbox – automatically send new CSV files by email and delete them after a week

Hi,

I have a question about setting this up in Pabbly Connect.

In a specific Dropbox folder, new CSV files appear every few hours.
I would like to achieve two things:

  1. Each new file, as soon as it appears in this folder, should be automatically sent as an attachment to a specified email address.
  2. Files should be automatically deleted from this folder one week after they appear (to keep the folder clean).
Has anyone configured a similar workflow? Which triggers/actions would work best here?
I’d really appreciate any guidance or an example setup.

Thanks!
Michał

Hi @haikus,

Your use case requires a four-step workflow:
  1. Use the 'Dropbox: New File' trigger step to capture new files.
  2. Add the 'Gmail: Send Email' action step to send the attachment to an email address.
  3. Set a Delay of 1 week.
  4. Finally, use the 'Dropbox: Delete a File/Folder' action step to delete the file.
