Hello @Himesh,

Could you please confirm if you have added the parameter from the Personalized section? If not, please try creating the parameter using that option.

Hello @Himesh,

It appears that you attempted to send the email using the "Send to Individuals" option. Please note that when this option is used, the recipient’s name is not passed, as it is only available when sending to a list.

Kindly refer to the attached images for more details.

Is there any way I can pass the name? I need to send the messages individually via Pabbly Connect Automations.

Hello @Himesh,

If you're using the "Send to Individuals" option directly from the dashboard, please note that it does not include the recipient's name in the email.

However, the Pabbly Email Marketing: Send Individual Emails action does allow you to map and include the recipient's name. Have you had a chance to try this option? If so, please let us know whether it works as expected for your use case, so we can assist you further.

Hello @Himesh,

Apologies for the confusion caused due to the oversight. The system currently does not allow you to add the subscriber name, but only the "From Name".

I did discuss the possibility of achieving this with the team, but unfortunately, it's not supported at the moment.

Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist you with.

Here’s a clear and helpful forum reply you can post:

Hi,

This issue usually happens when the dynamic variables (fields) are not mapped correctly in Pabbly Connect or when the data is not being passed in the expected format. Here are a few things you can check:

  1. Recheck Field Mapping
Make sure you have mapped the correct variables from the trigger step to your email template. Sometimes selecting the wrong field or an empty value causes the variable to not show.
  2. Capture Fresh Webhook Response
If you’re using a webhook, try sending a new test response and re-map the fields. Old or missing data can cause variables to fail.
  3. Use Proper Variable Format
Ensure you are inserting variables using Pabbly’s dynamic field selector instead of manually typing them. Manually entered placeholders may not work.
  4. Check for Empty Data
If the source data itself is empty or null, the variable will not display in the email. You can test this by printing the value in another step.
  5. Use Text Formatter (Optional Fix)
If formatting is the issue, you can use the Text Formatter step to clean or structure the data before passing it to the email template.
  6. Test the Workflow Again
After making changes, run a full test to confirm that the variables are now being replaced correctly.
If the issue still persists, you can share your workflow setup or screenshots so it can be checked more specifically.

Hope this helps!
