Error in connecting Whatsapp number

Hello,
I followed all the instructions to connect a Whatsapp number, those provided in the link below but I am getting an error.

I already tried to disconnect everything from the Meta page and did it again for the same results.

The error I´m getting is: Error fetching WhatsApp number

Any ideas?

This error often occurs due to an expired or incorrect access token. Follow these steps to resolve it:

1. Generate a Permanent Access Token (Most Common Fix)​

Temporary tokens expire quickly, causing connection issues. Watch this tutorial to generate a permanent access token and reconnect.

2. Ensure Proper Permissions​

You must have admin access to both Meta Business Manager and WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).

3. Verify WhatsApp Number Registration​

Check Meta Business Settings > WhatsApp Accounts to ensure the number is properly linked and not connected to another WABA.

4. Check Business Verification​

An unverified Business Manager account may block API access. Complete verification in Meta Business Settings > Security Center.

5. Confirm Number Formatting & Availability​

• Use the correct international format (+CountryCode Number).
• Ensure the number is not in use on the WhatsApp Business App (log out if necessary).

If the issue persists after updating the token, let us know.
