when I create a deal on HubSpot, right? Then it's triggered in Pably, then Pably send a reminder email according to HubSpot date and time, right? But, for example, when sometimes later, clients want to change their scheduling date, right? Scheduled date, then reminders, the reminders are getting same on the same on the previous date, but I want to change on new date

Hi @kumarbobbyldh,

Thanks for sharing the workflow.

Currently, the workflow is triggered when the deal is created, and the reminders are scheduled based on that initial date. If the deal date is updated later, the already scheduled reminders will still follow the old date.

To handle this, you can add a HubSpot: Search Deal step before sending the reminder and check if the current deal date matches the trigger date. If it matches, send the reminder; otherwise, stop the workflow.

You can also create a separate workflow triggered on Deal Updated to send reminders based on the updated date.

hi can you please guide me how its work now i made a HubSpot: Search Deal and its stop working emails on date change but how its work on triggered Deal Updated i need only when date and time change can you tell me how condition work

Hi @kumarbobbyldh,

We checked the workflow you created using the Deal Updated event. It seems that HubSpot is not sending details about which specific field was updated in the deal.

Could you please confirm whether the Last Modified Date only indicates that the deal was updated, or if it also shows which field was changed? If it does not provide that information, then the Deal Updated trigger alone cannot identify whether the date/time field was changed.

In that case, you may need to modify your existing workflow that is triggered on Deal Created. After the Delay step, add a HubSpot: Search Deal action and then a Filter/Router:

  • If the current deal date matches the date received from the trigger, continue with the reminder.
  • If the date has changed, you can calculate the difference and apply a new delay based on the updated date, then send the reminder accordingly.
Please note that handling such scenarios with delayed workflows can be a bit tricky, and there are limited ways to manage them in scheduled workflows. However, the above approach should help you handle most cases.

Let us know if you need further help setting this up.

yes i also think Deal Updated workflow will not work on it i think i need to work on same workflow can you confirm it yes i also add a Filter/Router to old workflow also check its correct can also guide me how i can add date has changed, you can calculate the difference and apply a new delay based on the updated date, then send the reminder accordingly.

The HubSpot: Deal Updated action step doesn’t specify which field has been updated. It will trigger on any update made to the deal. Since we cannot determine whether the workflow was triggered due to a change in time or any other change, this workflow will not work.

The HubSpot: New Deal Added workflow will trigger only once—when a new deal is created. Once it enters one of your routes based on the initial data, the other routes will not execute, even if you use the “Search Deal” step, calculate the time based on it, and then add a delay.

The use case you described does not appear to be possible for updated time using either of these workflows.
