Facebook Videos Thumbnail/Poster

Can we add the ability to include a thumbnail/poster image from URL for Facebook Video integration? The video post integration is great but I want to be able to set the thumbnail/poster image.

Hey @andrewstrealtor

Could you please tell us in which action event you want to pass the thumbnail and in which field? So that we can look into it.

You have an integration already for a Facebook Page post with video. That is where this would be needed. I’m not sure what more I can describe, it’s not complicated.

Hey @andrewstrealtor

We looked into the possibility of your concern but it is not possible to add a thumbnail field on the Facebook Page: Post a Video.

Hey @andrewstrealtor

We have already checked the possibility of it and it is not possible because it requires binary data of the image and we are using the hosted video URL in the request which does not support the hosted image URL in the thumb parameter.

Hi!

The possibility to include the thumbnail image from URL for Facebook Video integration would also help me a lot.

Is there any news about this? Thanks.

Hey @lfilippi

As of now, there is no workaround available to pass the thumbnail from the Facebook video URL.
