Google Contacts - Duplicates

How Can I check for duplicate contacts and either merge or delete them?

Hello @livefastdiehard,

Could you please elaborate on your exact use case? So we can accordingly suggest you the steps.
I have outside CRM that I like to sync contact data with my google contacts. Issue is CRM gets triggered for a lot of other things which will attempt to update/create a new contact. Currently every run through creates a new, duplicate contact. I cannot figure out how to just update existing contact and not create duplicates.

It is possible. You can use the ‘Search Contact’ action step to look for a contact, and then add a Router with two routes. Route 1 can be used to create a new contact if it doesn’t already exist in your Google Contacts account, while Route 2 can be used to update the contact if it already exists.

Please check out the reference workflow shared below.

Please create a new workflow, set up your trigger step, and capture a 3-contact response. Once you have done that, do let us know. This will allow us to access the possibility of your use case.
