Hello @serwar24554,

To make the Create Video Pin action work, you’ll need to use the "Register Media Upload" action to upload the video to Pinterest. Once uploaded successfully (with a "succeeded" status), you can then use the Media ID generated and map it under the "Create Video Pin" action.

Register Media Upload. how do i setup this action. i created a new step and tried to find the Register Media Upload app. but i did not find any. please be more clear and explain in a little more detail please.

Could you please specify the board on which you want to create the video pin?

hi i have tried to simplify this and removed all un necessary steps. i have also now used google drive for video source. but still i dont see any media upload succeed status.
i think it would be best that you create a video using your google drive and your pinterest account to verify if if you can publish video on pinterest easily.
if you want you may use this workflow too. i just want to see if it works on your end or not. because still i am not able to figure out what is the issue.
if you feel there is issue on my side then its best you publish video on your accounts. and just share the video. thank you.

Hello @serwar24554,

As per your suggestion, I have created a screen recording demonstrating that the Pinterest video pin is being successfully created. I’ve attached the video for your reference.

Regarding the issue with the media ID not returning a "succeeded" status, this appears to be specific to your account. We recommend reaching out to the Pinterest support team to investigate this further.

Please let us know what response you receive, and we’ll be happy to assist you accordingly.

hi i have tried to follow everything exactly as you did but still i only get failed or registered status only. i did some research and it was mentioned we might have to use post or put endpoint to actually upload the video on pinterest only then we will get the success status.
in your video i noticed many values were not mapped instead they are manually provided. could you please look into this and provide me some solution. i dont think its regarding my pinterest account because from zapier i was able to publish the video. i think there is something that i am missing.
i request you to create a thorough video which explains from video upload in the drive to video publishing on pinterest by mapping all the steps and not using any manual data. i think if you did this way you will also experience the issues i am facing. thank you.

Hello @serwar24554,

Thank you for following up.

After thoroughly reviewing your workflow, we can confirm that there’s no issue related to your user key or setup configuration. The use case you've described is fully achievable, and as demonstrated in the previously shared videos, the media upload and video pin creation are working successfully on our end.

That said, the issue in your case appears to be specific to the Media ID not being successfully uploaded for your Pinterest account. The error returned clearly points to this, and it's likely the reason the video pin creation is failing.

As this seems to be account-specific, we recommend reaching out to the Pinterest support team to better understand why the media isn't being registered properly.

If possible, please also share a screen recording of how you've configured the same action in Zapier. This could help us identify any potential differences that might be affecting your setup.

Looking forward to assisting you further.
