scenario:

user has an active subscription and he requested an upgrade this puts the subscription in pending status and generated an invoice.

Usual case is the user will pay the invoice resulting in subscription becoming active again

what if the user decide not to pay the invoice or proceed with the upgrade request?

how can we discard the upgrade requested on the subscription and mark it active again?

deleting the pending invoice doesn't help

Hello @Umair975 ,

If you do a subscription upgrade or downgrade and set the payment method as offline, a payable invoice is sent to the customer for making the payment of the prorated amount needed to upgrade or downgrade the subscription. If the customer makes the payment successfully, the subscription goes to live status and the user subscription get upgraded to the new plan. If the user does not make the payment, the subscription goes to a pending state, remains pending for some time, and then gets canceled after a while.

If for any reason the customer does not make the payment, the upgraded or downgraded subscription will remain in a pending state and eventually get canceled. Currently, in Pabbly Subscription Billing, we do not have the option to cancel an upgrade or downgrade once it has been initiated. Thus, if the customer wants to revert to the previous plan, you will need to manually assign a new subscription to the customer and ask them to subscribe to that plan again.
