Latency Issues with Pabbly Connect Webhooks vs. Zapier Webhooks?

Hi, I just purchased Pabbly Connect and went to migrate a simple Webhooks request from my current Zapier account to Pabbly Connect to test it out. What I found was that the Zapier Webhook zap arrived within a second or 2, but when I created the same situation in Pabbly Connect Webhooks it took up to a minute with no response, then upon a second request being sent it finally arrived a few seconds later. This happened a few times with the same results from both companies so I don't think it's the requesting service. Are there latency or receipt issues in Pabbly Connect Webhooks vs. Zapier Webhooks (or simply Pabbly Connect vs. Zapier for that matter)? The service I am using requires extremely high response time so I need to know with certainty how to consistently get quick Pabbly Connect Webhook events firing.

Thanks!

Hey @repify

Please note that the Webhook By Pabbly trigger event relies on webhooks and only receives a response when triggered by the application.

To troubleshoot any delays, we suggest checking the time it takes for the triggering application to respond. Use a handy testing site like webhook.site.

Simply copy the provided webhook URL from webhook.site into your triggering application. Perform a test event within the application to observe if the triggered webhook appears promptly or experiences a delay on webhook.site. This extra step will help confirm the issue.

To guide you through this process, we've prepared a helpful video tutorial:

Ok I watched the full video and used the recommended site, which is very handy, thank you. The request didn't come in the first time I triggered it but came in immediately the second time. I then replaced the link on my app with the Zapier webhook and it also was received immediately. I then replaced it with the Pabbly link and it stalled indefinitely. The video addresses that if the request appears in webhook.site, then it should also appear in Pabbly Connect, but I am in a situation where that does not seem to be the case. I've reached out to my vendor to see if they have some connectivity issue with Pabbly Connect specifically. I do know they support Zapier and GoHighLevel, I believe others too. They made it seem like "any" webhook is acceptable.

On a separate matter, there was a comment in the video that requests can take up to 10-15 seconds to be received in Pabbly Connect's webhook. I have an app that relies on real-time speech and cannot have a delay that long. Does the 10-15 seconds represent the time it takes to show up on my screen during testing, or does it represent the potential request-response cycle between API's talking to each other? Immediacy is paramount to my app so I need to be sure that Pabbly Connect can support near-instant transactions to work for my specific case. There is a live conversation happening in my app.

Thanks again for any help you can provide!

Thank you for providing detailed feedback on your experience. I'm pleased to hear that the recommended site was useful for you. Regarding the delay you encountered with Pabbly Connect, it's essential to investigate further. I recommend continuing the communication with your vendor to confirm any potential connectivity issues with Pabbly Connect and request a short video on trying the same on the Webhook.site.

In response to your question about the 10-15 seconds mentioned in the video, that timeframe typically refers to the time it takes for the request to appear in Pabbly Connect during testing. However, in real time once any application sends the data to the Webhook by Pabbly it immediately captures it.
