As we reviewed your workflow, the issue appears to be associated with the file size you're trying to upload. We recommend uploading a lower file size as that will take lesser time to upload and can be processed easily by Google Drive (The file size was around 7MB which you're where trying to upload).
That's the only workaround we can recommend to you based on our past experience with the uploading issues on Google Drive.
Lower the file size, easier it is for Google Drive to process it for uploading.
