Paddle Integration

Paddle Integration currently supports one-time payment. The recurring subscription payments are also supported but it will not be charged automatically. On the billing renewal date, an invoice will be sent to the customer and they will have to pay the invoice manually.
Below are the limitations and features of the Paddle Integration.

1. One Time Payments
: All types of one-time payments via Paddle are supported.

2. One Time Payment with Trial: Subscription will be created and activated as a trial. Once the trial expires, an invoice will be generated and the customer needs to pay from the invoice link sent to his email.

3. Subscription Payments: Recurring payments through Paddle are not automated inside Pabbly Subscription Billing. If you create a recurring plan inside Pabbly Subscription Billing, on each billing cycle, a new invoice will be sent to the customer and the customer needs to pay the invoice manually.

4. Payment Refund: Any refund that is required to be done, needs to be done on the Paddle application itself and you will need to record the refund inside Pabbly Subscription Billing manually.

Paddle Gateway Integration
Once the Paddle's gateway is successfully configured under your pabbly subscription payment gateway integration option, it's crucial to add and verify your custom domain instead of using default pabbly custom domain to avoid payment errors during the checkout process.

Here are the steps you need to follow to add and verify your custom domain:

Step 1: To Add a Custom Domain in Pabbly Subscription Billing (Setting > Custom Domain)
The first step is to add a custom domain in Pabbly Subscription Billing. To do this, you can follow the steps mentioned in this video tutorial:

Step 2: Contact Paddle Support to Verify Your Custom Domain

After adding your custom domain, you need to verify it with Paddle. To do so, click on the "Contact Us" button on the checkout page that appears when you try to make a payment through the Paddle gateway.

Paddle support will guide you through the verification process to ensure that your custom domain is properly set up and ready to accept payments.

Once your domain is verified, you will be able to accept payments through Paddle's payment integration option.

What do you mean by "recurring payments through Paddle are not automated inside Pabbly Subscription Billing"

If I set recurring payment to "once a month" and cycle to forever (until customer stops subscription). What happens then? Is pabbly going to send a invoice every month and the customer have to manually pay each time or will Pabbly automatically draw the monthly subscription cost from the card customer used when they bought the subscription?

Hey Daniel,

Apologies for the delayed response. And yes, a payable invoice is going to be sent to the customer so they can make the payment from their end to renew the subscription. Auto deduct will not work in case of recurring payments through Paddle.
