proper rate limiting in Pabbly connect

I need to register large numbers of people via clickfunnels to webinarjam and activecampaign. I'm rate limited to 5 calls per second on most platforms and I often massively exceed this, leading to large numbers of dropped registrations. Up to 5000 registrations in less than 2 minutes (42 per second but some seconds could be a lot higher).
Do I need to bring them from clickfunels to Pabbly hook and then rate limit it there to 4 per second and feed them to pabbly connect to process all the things I want to do? Is there a way I can just do this in pabbly connect?

When I try to setup an integration in clickfunnels 1.0 to pabbly hook, it fails with the error "Oops! It looks like there was a problem! Please review the problems below: Failed to Successfully Connect WebhookApi - Verify Access Details"
When I use any other webhook endpoint it works fine. I have verified that my pabbly hook is listening. In a browser, when I go to the pabbly hook url https://hook.pabbly.com/api/webhook/detailsRemovedForPrivacy I get the message "Received and forwarded to Pabbly Hook. Request ID: req_cc3d56a519fe41aa86ef3f37103a7db0"

I have configured pabbly hook to listen via post. When that didn't work I also enabled get, patch, post, put and delete. Still didn't work
