Hello Pabbly Team

I want to set a random delay between (say 1 seconds to 50 seconds) between executions of google sheet rows.

When I checked delay trigger, it has minutes and doesnt have seconds or randomizing delay

How can I achieve random delay? Are there any options to do this

Thanks
Mark

Hey @Marketer

Currently, the Delay action step is only available with Mins, Hours, Days, Weeks. So as of now, it is not possible to set the delay action steps randomly in seconds.

There are 2 ways,

1. Either you can use a delay that is at least 1 minute and put that before the Google Sheets step.

I am assuming you are trying to do this because of the rate limit that is applied by Google Sheets and you do not want your tasks to fail.

2. Here is another recommendation that I have for you.

A lot of people want to do heavy data operations with Google Sheets.

However, Google Sheets have limits on executions and often time fails on intensive read/write operations.

The solution to this is to have a professional database to manage your data load.

We do have a MySQL integration inside Pabbly Connect so if you need to do a data-heavy operation to read, write or update rows, you can use the MySQL database to do it.

Is there any possibility to bring delay in seconds please

MySQL actions are there, no triggers - https://www.pabbly.com/connect/integrations/mysql-beta/
