Updated Systeme API - how to set up a "Create or update contact"

Hi!
Systeme recently announced that they've updated their API, which is great and I see you already have some new features in the integration.
However, there is still not the option to "Create OR update contact".
There is an option to look up contact by email.
I wish you could create an integration step that would do that all at once, because it would be so much easier.

If you cannot create that integration step for us, a tutorial would be advised... Because what are the steps using a conditional automation to look up a contact via email, if the contact exist then update adding a tag, and if the contact does not exist yet, create the contact and add a tag.

(Note that I've previously seen that if you try "create contact adding a tag" and the contact already exists, you get an error).

Please help? It feels really complex doing it step by step like this.

According to the API, there is no option available to add an action step for creating or updating contacts. However, there is an alternate solution to achieve this on Systeme. You can use the Router action step where you can set two routes and create conditions to create the item and update the contact accordingly. To check if the contact already exists on your Systeme, you can use "Systeme.io: Search Contact by Email" in the automation process.
