We would like to request the addition of a customizable text area on upsell pages. This feature would allow merchants to clearly communicate to their customers that the primary product purchase is still in progress, and that the current page offers an additional product or service. The text area should inform the customer that they have the option to either accept or decline this offer without affecting their initial purchase.
Key Features:
1. Customizable Text: Merchants should be able to customize the message displayed in this area to suit their specific product and customer base.
2. Strategic Placement:
• The first text area should be placed directly below the page header to immediately inform the customer about the nature of the upsell offer.
• The second text area should be located just above the “Add to Order” button, to reinforce the message and ensure clarity before the customer makes their decision.
3. Template Options: Provide default templates for common messages to help merchants quickly implement this feature.
4. Impact on Customer Experience: By informing customers clearly about the nature of the upsell offer, this feature can reduce confusion and improve the overall user experience, potentially increasing conversions.
