Auto approve Affiliate configured but still need to click email verification

Hi,
We have auto approve affiliate configured in PSB backend. But when the user register via portal, they still need to click on verification email and it quite confusing because the user received 2 email

1 the invitation, the 2nd is you are approved.

But the affiliate still need to click on the 'verify email' on the invitation email.

Any easy smooth way to make the user journey better?
