Fluent CRM and Pabbly connect integration issues

Fluent CRM and Pabbly connect are not connecting with an error message like the one pictured below.

I have already installed and activated the "WordPress REST API Authentication plugin" which is required for WordPress integration.

According to the guide video on Pabbly's YouTube channel, it works fine with Basic Authentication without premium upgrade.

How can I connect to it?

Hi @se yung,

If you are using the free plan of a WordPress service, you will only be able to access the default endpoint authentication. To securely access custom or third-party plugin endpoints, you will need to upgrade to a premium plan suitable for your needs.

Please get in touch with WordPress's support team to gain a better understanding of this issue.

Hello,

As I mentioned above, if you watch your video, you'll see that I'm integrating Fluent CRM just like you, but with the free plan, not the premium plan.

Here's a link to the video so you can watch it from the 7th minute onward

In other words, in your video, you are integrating Fluent CRM with the free plan.
I followed the same steps, but the connection is not working.
I don't think it's just because it's a free plan.
If the free plan is the problem, you shouldn't be able to connect either.

As mentioned before, the error is originating from WordPress's end, so I suggest you reach out to their support team. I have already shared the information I had regarding your concern.

Hi,

Since November 21st, I've been trying to connect FluentCRM with Pabbly Connect, but it's not working at all. I keep encountering errors, and it’s driving me crazy because it’s wasting so much of my time. I’ve followed every single step shown in your tutorial video, even though the REST API is now directly integrated into FluentCRM.

Here are the issues I’m facing:
  1. Connection Status Paradox:
    • In one place, I see that the connection is established (just like in the tutorial image).
    • However, when I try to validate my process, it fails and says "incorrect password", even though I’m using the correct password.
  2. Lists and Tags Not Displaying:
    • When I try to select a list or tags, they simply don’t show up.
I’ve attached a screenshot for each problem to make it clearer. I really don’t understand what’s going wrong here, and I urgently need this fixed. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Here’s the URL of my automation: https://connect.pabbly.com/workflow/mapping/IjU3NjAwNTY0MDYzMjA0M2Q1MjZhNTUzZCI_3D_pc.
I really need help because FluentCRM is replacing ActiveCampaign in my workflows, and I have a lot of automations that need to be updated. Until I can complete this integration, I’m losing time, energy, and money.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @Piggy69,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details of the issue.

We have tested the connection with FluentCRM and were able to connect successfully, refer to this video for more info. We recommend generating a new API key and ensuring you’re using the correct password during the setup process.

Please try setting up the connection again using the new API key and password. Let us know if this resolves the issue or if you continue to face any difficulties—we’re here to assist you further.

Looking forward to your update!

Thank you so much for your support, and I’m happy to report that the issue is now resolved!

It turns out the key detail I was missing was that the WordPress username and API key password were the correct credentials to use for the connection, not just the WordPress login details. In the videos I watched, it was mentioned to use the WordPress login, which led me to follow that step exactly, but that was causing the issue. The integration was actually working, but when I tried to fetch things like lists or status, it wouldn’t recognize the credentials, because the correct password wasn't entered.

So here’s a little tip for anyone filming these kinds of tutorial videos: Be careful with the wording and scripting. Every detail matters when we follow these steps carefully, like I did, step by step!

Thanks again for your help and support!
