Gmail Primary Inbox Placement Issue – Please Review Campaign Settings
Status: Open · Asked by Anjali koli on · 0 views
Hello Pabbly Team,
Our email-sending issue is resolved, but all the Gmail test emails I checked are landing in Promotions rather than the Primary inbox.
We use Pabbly Email Marketing with Amazon SES (ap-south-1), sending from [email hidden].
Our priority is for emails to reach the Primary inbox consistently and avoid Spam. Please review our campaign template, HTML formatting, tracking links, email headers, unsubscribe configuration, and delivery-server settings to identify any improvements.
SPF and DKIM show PASS in the received email headers. We also identified duplicate DMARC records and are working to correct them.
Please check whether anything in our Pabbly configuration could be contributing to this placement and guide us through the exact changes and testing steps. Please retain the working unsubscribe functionality.
I understand Primary placement cannot be guaranteed, but this is important for our campaigns, and we need practical technical assistance to improve it.
Please investigate and help us resolve any issues within your control as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Sidharth

Hello Sidharth,
Thank you for sharing the details.
Pabbly Email Marketing provides the email environment for sending your campaigns. However, inbox placement, including whether an email lands in the Primary or Promotions tab, is determined by the receiving email provider and the delivery infrastructure being used.
Since you are using Amazon SES for email delivery, we recommend contacting Amazon SES Support regarding the Gmail inbox placement and delivery behavior. They can review the SES delivery environment, sending reputation, headers, and other delivery-related factors from their end.
From the Pabbly side, we can assist with the campaign configuration and email-sending setup.
