Identically, I can't upload a 300 KB image from shutterstock to pabbly e-mail marketing v2. It gives the message: Upload rejected. We could not verify the safety of this image. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact support.
I tried:
1. Open the Shutterstock image in Photoshop or even Windows Paint
And:
Save As → JPG
new file name
without Croatian characters
2. Be sure to convert to sRGB
In Photoshop:
Edit → Convert to Profile
sRGB IEC61966-2.1
Email editors can have problems with:
CMYK
Adobe RGB
embedded ICC profiles
And Shutterstock can deliver Adobe RGB or CMYK export.
3. Export without metadata
In Photoshop:
File → Export → Save for Web
Metadata → None
or in Canva:
upload pictures
download as JPG
Canva practically “cleans” the file.
4. Check the extension
Must be real:
.jpg
or .png
Sometimes Windows displays a .jpg, but it's actually:
WEBP
TIFF
HEIC
which the editor doesn't like.
5. Try the PNG version
Some email builders have a bug with the JPG parser.
In Photoshop/Canva:
export PNG
upload PNG
6. Possible Shutterstock “unsafe” false positives
Some security systems block images that have:
stock metadata
IPTC copyright record
AI tagging metadata
Re-export removes all that.
Fastest solution (90% chance of success)
Open the image in Canva
Download → JPG
Upload the new Canva version to Pabbly
