Connecting Stripe with Mailchimp and would like to be able to segment under the below three scenarios.
  1. New Customer who purchased our product A
  2. New Customer who purchased our product B (differentiated by price)
  3. Customers who have been refunded

Was able to successfully connect Stripe and tested by adding new customers, but have been unsuccessful with the Mailchimp integration.

Hey @Idaho Online Real Estate

As we can understand from your above concern, it seems like you might make the Last Name Required and since you are not passing it you are getting such an error.

Kindly pass the last name in the respective action event and try again. Though it seems like you are already getting first and last names directly in one field, so we have extracted the first and last name separately and passed it to the Mailchimp action event.

That worked and now the new test subscriber is showing up in Mailchimp - thank you!!

Is there a way to segment customers from Stripe using some criteria like amount, product purchased etc?

Hey @Idaho Online Real Estate !

Sure, it can be done.

You need to use the "Router" step, which will help you divert the amounts in different paths for further execution.

As an example, you can check the below images-

  • Choose the first Route and you will get the "Filter" in it, which you need to follow as suggested in an image-

  • Now, you will further add your applications below for which this route needs to work and click on "Done".
  • Then, select the next route and in its "Filter", kindly check for the suggested mapping-

Same, after this, add the application you want to enter the details for the next value, and then click on "Done".

For reference on how a "Router" works, you can check on this video tutorial-

Hope, this works for you.

Thank you for your help! I'm not seeing a field in the Create a Customer in Stripe to map to, so I've changed the Stripe Event to be New Charge.
However, after adding the webhook, and creating a test payment in Stripe's test environment, data hasn't come through. Within Strip it doesn't show any webhook attempts.

Could you please advise?
