Hi!

I want to schedule my automation based on the local time of my new lead.

I have two questions:
1. Can Pabbly map the local time of a trigger?
2. If not, can it generate the local time based on the ZIP/PIN code and the time of the trigger?

Yes, Pabbly can map the local time of the Schedule trigger. It pulls the time based on the timezone you have selected in your account settings. This allows the trigger to operate according to your specific local time, ensuring that your workflows align with your preferred time zone.

In response to triggers from other applications, the date and time are typically provided in UTC format or according to the time settings of the triggering application.

2. If not, can it generate the local time based on the ZIP/PIN code and the time of the trigger?

Unfortuantley, it wouldn't be possible to generate Date and Tiem from the Zip/Pin code, but if your get the correct format of Timezone you can use the Modify Current Time action step to get the date and time accordingly.

Thank you for your reply. However, it doesn't solve the issue.
I want to capture the local time of my lead filling out a form to plan automation accordingly.

You need to make sure that your lead form has timezone dropdown matching pabbly connect's date and time formatter actions' timezone dropdown.

That way you will be able to capture the lead's timezone and map that in date-time formatter actions dynamically.

Thanks Fagun! That gives the control to lead and may not do it or do it correctly. Very unreliable, I feel.

Then you need a form builder that detects the location and timezone on the backend based on IP Address.

Or take zipcode from user and then use some other api in pabbly API action to get the timezone based on zip code.

Yes, that's precisely what my queries were in the beginning.

I'm using systeme.io, and they cannot capture the time zone based on the device's IP address.
