multi tier affiliate links not working on mobile

hello,
we are testing out the platform and set up affiliates and sub affiliates. however when a sub affiliate uses their link on a mobile device it doesn't seem to give any credit to the tier 1 or tier 2 affiliate? when the same link is used on a pc browser it works no problem. we tried several mobile browsers
