Pabbly Promotional Interference

Guys - please. I know you have  a business to run and your apps appear to be excellent but PLEASE work out some way to control the promotional interference.

I just showed Pabbly Email Marketing to my client who I would like to onboard. The first thing say said was "what's this popup?", "why are they trying to upsell me when we're on the ultimate monthly plan?".

It just leaves a bad feeling that you're not interested in the product itself but only interested in sales. As I said, I get it.

BUT for example, I have signed up for you Black Friday alert. But I'm STILL seeing it everywhere - even on this forum!

Can you stop (or at least allow the user to disable), such promotional interference when they are already a paid-up subscriber.

For your reference we currently use Mailjet which has a beautifully minimal UI. Personally I prefer your UI if only it could be without the CONTINUAL upsell nonsense.

Ultimately you might actually lose sales because people don't want to be working in an ecosystem that constantly looks like an advertising billboard.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing this detailed feedback about the promotional banners and upgrade prompts in Pabbly Email Marketing. I completely understand how a clean, distraction-free interface matters when you're demonstrating the product to a client.

To set expectations: the promotional banner and Upgrade button are standard elements shown across the Pabbly interface for all users, both free and paid. They're displayed in case a user wishes to purchase an additional plan or upgrade in the future, and currently they cannot be removed or disabled on an individual account basis. Please note that seeing these offers does not affect your current plan or require any additional purchase.

Regarding the Black Friday / marketing emails: if you'd like to stop receiving promotional emails, you can click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Pabbly marketing email, or reply asking us to remove your address manually. This only affects marketing emails — transactional account emails will still be sent.

I'll pass your request to make these promotional elements user-dismissible for paid subscribers along to our product team as a feature request. Your point about the client-facing experience is well taken.

If there's anything else I can help with, please let me know.

Thanks & Regards,

Thank you for taking this seriously. As a paid subscriber, you should not have to suffer continual promotional interference in the UI. Promotions by email - of course that's fine. A one-time pop-up in the UI would be fine also so long as it doesn't return each time you login.

Treating your paid subscribers in the same way as free account holders makes it appear that you don't actually care about the people who are committing to paying you monthly / yearly.

Hello there,

Thank you again for sharing your perspective so openly. We truly value the time you’ve taken to explain how continual promotional elements in the interface affect your experience as a paid subscriber.

Your point about the difference between free and paid accounts is well understood. We recognize that subscribers who commit to monthly or yearly plans expect a cleaner, more focused workspace without repeated upsell prompts. Feedback like yours helps us see the product through the eyes of our customers and highlights areas where we can improve the balance between informing users of offers and maintaining a professional, distraction‑free environment.

We’ve noted your suggestion that a one‑time pop‑up or email promotion is acceptable, but repeated UI banners are not. This is a valuable distinction and will be shared with our product team for consideration in future updates.

We appreciate your continued support and commitment to Pabbly, and we’ll keep striving to make the experience better for you and your clients.

Thanks & Regards,

Adeel Akhtar
