๐Ÿ‘‰ Case 1: Workflow disabled due to tasks fully consumed.

The error arises when all the tasks assigned to your Pabbly Connect account have been utilized, leaving no remaining tasks for workflow execution. As a consequence, the affected workflows are automatically disabled until more tasks are made available. When this error occurs, the disabled workflows will not function as intended, leading to a disruption in the automated processes you have set up with Pabbly Connect. It is essential to monitor your task consumption to avoid such interruptions and ensure the smooth operation of your workflows.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Case 2: Workflow disabled due to fair usage policy of free tasks limit.

Pabbly Connect customers are allocated a specific number of tasks for their accounts. To ensure fair usage and prevent abuse, we enforce daily and monthly free task limits for individual workflows. Below are the detailed policies:

Scenario 1 - Daily Free Task Limit for each workflow

This error will arise when a specific workflow consumed more than 10 times the free tasks of their allotted tasks. For example, if a customer has 10,000 tasks allotted to their Pabbly Connect account, then the daily free tasks limit assigned to each workflow will be 100,000 (i.e, 10 times of allotted tasks)

When using Pabbly Connect, customers are given a specific number of tasks that they can perform within their account. Each workflow created by a customer has a limit on the number of free tasks it can execute per day. This means that if a workflow exceeds this limit, an error occurs.

The free task limit for each workflow is determined by multiplying the total number of tasks allotted to the customer's Pabbly Connect account by 10. For example, if a customer has been allocated 10,000 tasks for their Pabbly Connect account, each workflow will have a daily free task limit of 100,000 (i.e., 10 times the allotted tasks). It is important for customers to be aware of this limit to avoid encountering errors and ensure smooth workflow execution within their accounts.

Scenario 2 - Monthly Free Task Limit for each workflow

Each workflow in a customer's Pabbly Connect account also has a monthly free task limit. This limit is calculated as 50 times the total tasks allotted to the account. If a workflow exceeds this limit in a given month, it will be automatically disabled.

For example:
If a customer has 10,000 tasks allotted to their Pabbly Connect account, the monthly free task limit for any single workflow will be 500,000 tasks (i.e., 50 times the allotted tasks). Once this limit is reached, the workflow will stop functioning until the start of the next month or unless additional task credits are purchased.

Note: If you need higher free tasks count, consider upgrading your subscription plan with higher paid tasks limit so that you can automatically get higher free tasks limit.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Case 3: Workflow disabled due to high polling errors.

High polling errors refer to situations where a workflow in Pabbly Connect fails to fetch new data on 50 consecutive polling attempts. Polling is the process of regularly checking a trigger or event source for new data. Repeated failures like this usually indicate an issue with the trigger or the connected app, so Pabbly Connect automatically disables the workflow until it's resolved. You can re-enable it once the trigger issue is fixed. If you want to know more about it, check here how polling works.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Case 4: Workflow disabled by Pabbly Connect Manager.

If you are using the Pabbly Connect Manager to enable or disable a workflow, you may notice a message in the workflow edit log stating that the workflow has been disabled. This occurs as a result of actions performed within the Pabbly Connect Manager, specifically when enabling or disabling workflows.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Case 5: Workflow enabled by System.

This notification appears when workflows that were previously disabled by the system are automatically re-enabled after you make a successful payment for your subscription.

When this occurs:

Workflows are automatically enabled by the system when:
  • Your subscription payment is successfully processed
  • Your account transitions from expired/cancelled to active status
  • New tasks are allocated to your account following payment completion

Background: When your subscription expires or payment fails, the system automatically disables your workflows to prevent unauthorized usage. Once you make a successful payment and your subscription is reactivated, the system immediately restores all previously disabled workflows to their active state.

Note: After workflows are enabled by system, they will resume normal operation according to their configured triggers and schedules. No manual action is required from your end.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Case 6: Workflow disabled due to repeated authentication errors.

Authentication errors refer to situations where a workflow in Pabbly Connect fails to connect to the trigger app on 5 consecutive polling attempts because its authorization is no longer valid. This usually happens when the app connection has expired, been revoked, or its credentials have changed. When this occurs, Pabbly Connect automatically disables the workflow to stop further failed attempts. You can re-enable it after reconnecting (re-authorizing) the app.
