Connecting an external stock feed via ftp to Shopify

We have an ecommerce store hosted on Shopify. One of our suppliers has offered us their live feed via ftp. We need to connect that to Shopify so that the stock quantity updates automatically on Shopify when the stock quantity changes on the supplier's data feed. Shopify doesn't natively enable ftp uploads, so I need something that will check the supplier's ftp file regularly, notice when the stock quantity changes and then automatically change the stock available in Shopify.
Is this something that Pabbly can do? It feels like exactly the kind of thing it should do but I can't find a way to connect it to ftp without adding yet another paid app in the middle.
