Hi Pabbly Support Team,We're using the "Facebook Lead Ads - New Lead Instant" trigger connected to a custom API action (Execute API Request) that pushes lead data into our CRM.Issue: We want to automatically fetch the live Facebook Ad Campaign details (specifically campaign_id and campaign_name) for
Hello @Axentro Realtors,
Can you try this action step after trigger "Facebook Lead Ads -> Get Lead Details" Let me know if that works.
FYI I'm not from Pabbly Connect team, just a freelancer who helps other Pabbly users.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and for the detailed explanation.
Regarding the campaignid and campaignname not appearing reliably in your Facebook Lead Ads - New Lead Instant trigger response, here are a few things to check:
1. Facebook only returns campaign metadata (campaignname, campaignid, ad set name, ad name) for paid, ad-based leads. If a lead is generated organically (for example, someone opening the lead form directly from the Facebook or Instagram page rather than from an ad), Facebook does not include any campaign details in the payload. In those cases the field will be empty. This is how Facebook's Lead Ads API works and cannot be changed from Pabbly's side.
2. If the fields are missing even for paid leads, this often happens when an older Facebook connection is being reused. To resolve this, please try creating a brand new workflow, add the Facebook Lead Ads - New Lead trigger, and when prompted create a NEW Facebook connection (do not reuse the existing one). Re-authorize and select the correct Facebook Page and Lead Form, then capture the trigger response again and verify whether campaignname and campaignid now appear.
3. Make sure you are capturing a real/live lead rather than a test lead from Facebook's Lead Ads Testing Tool, since test leads typically omit campaign-level metadata. After a genuine live submission is captured, re-select or re-capture the response so your action step maps from the updated payload.
If the campaign fields are still missing after recreating the connection and capturing a genuine paid lead, please confirm that the Facebook Page/Ad account has the necessary permissions and that the lead form is associated with an active ad campaign. You can also share your workflow URL and grant access so our team can inspect the trigger payload directly.
Thanks & Regards,
