How do I disable 'Merchant Initiated Billing' for a one-time plan so my customers don't see the future charges warning?

Hello,

I have set up a product in Pabbly Subscriptions with the billing cycle set to "One-Time." However, when my customers check out using Stripe, they see a warning message that says: "This merchant will be able to charge you for future payments."

This is confusing them because they are making a single purchase, not signing up for a subscription.

I have already confirmed the following:

  • The plan's billing cycle is definitively set to "One-Time."
  • I do not have any Upsell/Downsell Funnels enabled for this plan.
It seems that Pabbly/Stripe is still creating a "Merchant Initiated Billing" agreement and saving my customers' payment methods, which triggers this mandatory warning.

Could you please tell me the specific setting I need to disable to prevent this? I want the transaction to be a pure, one-time payment with no option for future charges, so that my customers do not see this warning.

Thank you for your help.

Hello @adriand ,

The note saying:

"By providing your card information, you allow Magnet Brains LLC to charge your card for future payments in accordance with their terms."

comes from Stripe, not Pabbly. It appears because Stripe saves the card details for convenience.
