How to add names of contacts from contact custom fields to my flow messages

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out. Yes, you can personalize your flow messages in Pabbly Chatflow by inserting a contact's custom field value, such as their name.
Here's how it works:
1. First, make sure the custom field exists in your account. Go to Settings and then Contact Custom Fields, and create the field you need (for example, Name) if it isn't already there. Some fields are available as built-in fields, so do check the existing ones first.
2. In Chatflow, custom field tags use the format with a dollar sign, like $Name (not {{name}} or {name}). Each field has its own tag once created.
3. Open the field in Contact Custom Fields and copy the exact tag shown for it, then paste that tag into your flow's message body where you want the value inserted. For your example, the message would read: "Thank you $Name for supplying your details, we will be with you shortly."
A common reason a tag does not render is that the custom field hasn't actually been created yet, or the tag was typed from the display name rather than copied from the field. Please copy the exact tag generated by Chatflow after creating the field.
If you'd like, you can also capture the name earlier in the flow using a question/input step and store it in a variable to reference later.
Please let us know if you need any further help.
