How to change several placeholders in Google Docs document

Workflow:  AirTable --> Google Docs.  Creating Closing documents using templates from Google Docs, personalized with data from AT. Using Formatters to change one date and several Currencies. Date Formatter works fine because there is only 1 date to be re-formatted. When listing several Currency fields for re-formatting, the Number Formatter sums the items rather than parsing them to be formatted.
