Retrieve Client ID and Client Secret for Spotify​

To integrate Spotify with Pabbly Connect, you need to create an application in the Spotify for Developers dashboard to obtain your Client ID and Client Secret. Follow the step-by-step guide below to complete the setup.

Step 1: Create a Spotify Developer App​

1. Log into the Spotify for Developers dashboard.
2. Click on the Create app button located at the top right of the dashboard.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Fill in the required details in the App form:
   
   • App name: Enter a name (E.g., My App).
   • App description: Enter a brief description.
   • Website (Optional): You can leave this blank.
4. In the Redirect URL field, enter the following URL:
   https://connect.pabbly.com/callback-url
5. Click the Add button to confirm the URL.
6. In the Which API/SDKs are you planning to use? section, select Web API.
7. Click on the Save button.
   
   
   

Step 2: Configure User Management​

Since Spotify apps are in "Development Mode" by default, you must explicitly add your account as a user to test the integration.

1. Navigate to the User Management section from the side menu.
2. Enter your Full Name and the Email associated with your Spotify account.
3. Click on the Add user button.
   
   
   

Step 3: Retrieve Client ID and Client Secret​

1. Navigate to the Settings or Basic Information section of your app.
2. Locate the Client ID and Client Secret (you may need to click "View Client Secret").
3. Copy both values.
   
   
   

Step 4: Connect to Pabbly Connect​

1. Go to your Pabbly Connect account and open the workflow where you want to add Spotify.
2. In the connection window, paste the Client ID and Client Secret you copied earlier.
3. Click Save and authorize the connection when prompted.
