Request For Refund

Brain Infinity — Question ·

Hi Team Pabbly,

I would like to cancel my Pabbly subscription and request a refund for the recent renewal.

Our subscription was renewed yesterday, but we have not used Pabbly since the renewal not even a single task has been consumed. We have also not been actively using the platform for the past 20+ days, which you can verify from our account usage history.

Even during the previous month, our total usage was only around 900 tasks, which shows that we are no longer actively using the service.

Since the subscription was renewed only yesterday and there has been zero usage after the renewal, I kindly request you to cancel the subscription and issue a full refund for the renewed amount.

Please check our account usage and help us process the cancellation and refund.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your concern.

We understand that your subscription was recently renewed and that you have not used any tasks since the renewal. However, we would like to clarify that your subscription is a monthly recurring subscription. For recurring subscriptions, we have already provided an option at the customer's end to cancel the subscription and manage future renewals as needed.

We would also like to inform you that our 30-day money-back policy applies only to the initial purchase. Since the amount in question is a renewal charge, it does not fall under our refund policy.

However, as an exception, what we can offer is to add the equivalent amount as credits to your Pabbly account. Whenever you choose to come back to Pabbly, you can use these credits toward the purchase of any plan of your choice.

Please let us know if you are comfortable with this option, and we will proceed accordingly. You can refer to our Terms & Conditions here: https://www.pabbly.com/terms-conditions/

Hello Preeti,

Thank you for your response and for explaining the policy.

I understand that the 30-day money-back policy generally applies only to the initial purchase. However, I would kindly request you to reconsider our case as a special exception.

The renewal happened only yesterday, and not a single task has been consumed since the renewal. We had also not been actively using Pabbly for more than 20 days before the renewal. Our usage history clearly reflects that the account has essentially been inactive, with only around 900 tasks used during the previous month.

Since the renewal is extremely recent and there has been zero usage or benefit received from the renewed subscription, I believe a full refund would be a fair and reasonable resolution in this particular situation.

We also did not intend to continue the subscription, and the renewal was not followed by any usage of the service. While I understand that cancellation is available for future renewals, cancellation alone does not address the charge that has already been processed.

Regarding the account credits, we appreciate you offering that option. However, at this point, we are not sure whether we will need to use Pabbly again in the next 6–12 months, so locking the renewed amount into account credits may not be useful for us.

If we need Pabbly Connect again in the future, we would be happy to purchase a new subscription directly at that time. We are simply unsure whether we will have a requirement for the service over the next 6–12 months.

Therefore, we would sincerely request that you escalate the matter to your billing/management team and reconsider issuing a refund to the original payment method as a one-time goodwill exception, given that the renewal occurred only yesterday and there has been absolutely no usage since the renewal.

If a refund is ultimately not possible after reviewing the request, we can then consider the account-credit option as an alternative. We simply wanted to request the refund first, considering the circumstances.

I hope you can take into consideration the very recent renewal, zero post-renewal usage, and our account's inactivity before making a final decision.

We would really appreciate your help in resolving this fairly.

Thank you.

Hello,

We have successfully initiated the refund for your recent renewal.

The amount should reflect back in your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank's processing time. Your subscription has also been canceled to prevent any future automatic renewals.

Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this process. If you ever decide to use Pabbly again in the future, we would be glad to welcome you back!
