Shopify: Find customer by email - fails to find customer

Whenever I search for a customer in Shopify using a pabbly step, the result is always empty. I have a router step after this step that creates the customer if it doesn't exist.

and the result:

As you can see, this customer does exist in Shopify:

Therefore the workflow tries to create the customer and errors.

Hey @wibbler

Please name the workflow once you have set the filter condition for the same so that we can check the same on our end.

Hey @wibbler

We can see from your workflow, that Shopify is not getting the customer from the action step accordingly.

Perhaps at that time of the execution, Shopify might not be able to process your request and resulting in a blank response.

Is the problem that Pabbly is not sending the information correctly to Shopify, or that Shopify is not sending the information?

The error happens every time.

Who can help improve the outcome, Pabbly or Shopify?

You can see the same in the Data In the task section of what request we have sent to the application and in Data Out you can see what response the application has sent in response.

Though we have forwarded your concern to our technical team and once we get any news from them we will let you know.

We have made a slight change from our end and it should work for you in automation now.

So, kindly reconnect the action step and tr again.
